On Friday May 1st, WRMU made the decision to re-launch the station under a new format. Beginning on that day, WRMU 91.1 switched from playing smooth jazz to playing tunes from the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. WRMU is still committed to providing an educational outlet for University of Mount Union students as well as providing a service to the community. Although the music we play may have changed, our commitment to our campus and the community has not. We hope our listeners will continue to listen to WRMU in the future. Because of this change, it may be a while before we post anything new but please know we are working hard behind the scenes to continue to be the best we can be. Although I am sad to see that WRMU will no longer be the “Jazz Giant”, I am sure that the new format will not change the commitment to excellence that has marked the station since the start. Perhaps, you could play smooth jazz on the weekends? at any rate, still love the station. Still love the Raiders. Please keep giving us the live broadcasts of the games.
